Update: My family and I are currently living overseas, so I am no longer able to update this blog. (Though I wish I could!) Enjoy reading through my archives, if you'd like!

["And above all, watch with glittering eyes the whole world around you because the greatest secrets are always hidden in the most unlikely places. Those who don't believe in magic will never find it."]  -Roald Dahl

Hi, I'm Leslie!  I am a wife, a daughter, a sister, and a friend. I'm also a red lipstick lover, diet coke addict (from McDonalds only, of course), vintage clothing wearer, and the wife of one very handsome husband.

Handsome Husband is Josh.  He likes photography, exercise, reading, helping others, and rubbing pencil erasers on his face.

Sometimes we look like professionals.

...but we prefer fun pictures that capture our playful love and silly hearts.

At the Harry Potter Premiere.  I'm dressed as a Snitch.

We've been married since October 10, 2008.  We love being married, and this is a place where you will find me sharing my thoughts and ideas about marriage pretty regularly.  We fell crazy in love and decided to set out on a journey to see if we could make the "Honeymoon Phase" last forever.  (Doesn't everyone want it to last forever?)  Of course, there are times when I fail at being the perfect wife and laugh at myself, and other times when I get it right.  If this is the only part of my blog you decide to read then I just want to take a second to tell you a secret that very few people will share with you:

Marriage can be a completely amazing, wonderful, challenging, beautiful adventure.

Our only baby is our puppy, Buddy.  He is a Cavachon and don't worry, he has forgiven us for giving him the least original puppy name ever.  He's the cutest dog in the whole world and brings a lot of joy, play, and licking into our lives.

We love people, traveling, and sharing our experiences with others.  Currently, we are preparing to move overseas to do humanitarian work.  Most of the time we are thrilled about having such an incredible opportunity to help others, but part of the time, we are nervous about starting a new life 9000 miles away from the beautiful one we have already created here. (Hey, just being honest!)  I passionately believe that life is full of wonder, and I enjoy using this space as a creative way to remember the many moments that make it wonder-full.  What started out as an avenue to share our hearts and lives with our families and friends has become a personal space for me to share my heart and the stories that make up our life.  Thanks for stopping by!
